One might have wished that the VP debates had not been so... pointless.
John Edwards did all right, but I would have expected a trial lawyer as successful as he to have been a bit more eloquent and aggressive-- he stumbled over his words, a lot, and he let Cheney get away with calling him an absentee senator, as well as saying that he "dishonored" the sacrifices of Iraqis. Is it really a sacrifice if it's done unwillingly? Just wondering.
The only good thing about the debate was that I doubt it'll change anyone's mind; Cheney sounded all tough and psycho-Reeper-y, but he was so obviously lying that I can't imagine anyone not already on board buying it. I only wish Edwards had thought to, y'know, call the bastard on it.
One only hopes that shallow straight women and gay men vote in droves this year, because DAMN Edwards is hot. Is everyone from the South beautiful? Might have to consider moving to Atlanta again...
In other news, I've been downloading DDR tracks like a mofo. Somebody stop me.
