No, I did not, nor did I see the woman with a comb in her hand, wailing away on a wall on the Strand as I danced the Turkish song of the damned.

If you don't get the song reference, don't worry. I'm just in a weird mood.

Is it tacky to go in on birthday presents with people even when the present in question didn't cost very much? Just wondering.

Does it seem obscene to anyone else that my graduate education (the first part of it, anyway) will cost approximately 11% of my undergraduate education? Good thing too, as I'm going to have to pay for it all myself, or very nearly.

Tomorrow is yet another birthday party, and then Chantal leaves for UT on the 9th.

I wish my last real summer had had more of my friends in it.
