Happy birthday to me.

Well. We placed in all the events we raced today, which was great, even though none of our boats came in first. My boat actually came in third, but we were ahead of NYU by more than a boat length for a while there. Coach C said we all looked great, and that if we can just work on getting our stroke ratings up and fortify our endurance, we could possibly make it to State's. That would be damn awesome, but it also means we'll have to work harder... ouch.

Dinner tonight with friends and family (not, alas, the two friends I'd most like, but still), and then dancin' up a storm with lildeviantgyrl at the Batcave until god o'clock in the morning.

All in all (and especially considering the gifts I've gotten... both material and immaterial), damn fine birthday. I give it a 10.

Even if I did have to get up at 5:30 and row my ass off.
