My hair is almost long enough to swish. That makes me happy. I'm still struggling with whether or not I really want to dye it-- I know exactly what color I want it to be, but I don't want to pay for a salon to do it, because I know that's horrendously expensive, and I'm afraid I'll burn my scalp off if I try to do it myself. Anyone have any useful advice for me? I've been using that "henna highlights" shampoo stuff for over a year and it hasn't done jack, so I may be ready for a more radical treatment. I just want to bring out the red that's already in my hair a little more, so it'll be visible in something other than bright, direct sunlight. Brands, procedures... I've never done anything cosmetic to myself, so this is all unfamiliar territory for me.
